omg hard to answer! I will try :) I have taught myself and I have not had classes so I don't know a lot of technical stuff except what I look up in tutorials. My Camera has a cross grid and when you set your camera to manual focus and turn the dial to focus, the sharp spots light up red when you lightly press the button before you shoot the photograph. It usually works better when I am very close to an object, like just inches away. It takes lots of shooting and lots of practice. Sometimes I delete more pictures than I take.
